Peter Redmond is an entrepreneur, inventor, engineer, scientist and world renowned robotics guru. His career spans the fields of real science and the science fiction of TV and movies. On one side of this duality, Peter has consulted on or created amazing special effects and props for movies and TV such as Game of Thrones, Vikings, King Arthur, Top Gear, Robot Wars, Scrapheap Challenge, Reign of Fire and many more. On the other side, he has created award winning robots, patented avionics aircraft systems and medical devices, and lectured 3D Machine Vision and Augmented Reality at Trinity College Dublin. His robots include Diotoir, the famous furry fireball from BBC’s Robot Wars, and RuBot II, the Guinness World Records fastest Rubik’s cube solving robot.
